Sabres were literally one game short of the playoffs. IF..if..if...they would have won that Florida game last week instead of losing 2-1, they would have needed 1 point tonight for a playoff spot. lots of bad luck that night...ugh...

 

 That home record still killed them..it is what it is but they have to work on home succrss...that's on them...

If they won the Islanders game that had the overturned, kicked in, purposely redirected goal we would have been in without this  game.   Four point game.

Hope the stupid Aisles sweep the Canes then either get thumped by or sweep the other metro NYC team they'd face.  Because the league deserves having lousy hockey in the playoffs with the way they make decisions.

I'm in Eerie right now, a friend has a major event tomorrow morning and I want to be there.  I never have bet sports before, but I put $5 on the Sabs at the weird casino next to my hotel.  (I do mean weird, as in wow, if @PASabreFan thinks antique bars in Erie violate the ADA, he should see this stuff!).

I'm tempted to get it laminated (as my first ever sports bet) and use it as a bookmark, rather than cash in the $7.40 against the $5 I paid.  (Because they will win.)  Thoughts?
