WhenWillItEnd66 Posted April 5, 2023 Report Posted April 5, 2023 Oh well, golly gee, maybe we will have better luck next game (cough season)...... So tired of us sucking ass against physical tight checking teams 1 Quote
Buffalonill Posted April 5, 2023 Report Posted April 5, 2023 Back to the ryan miller times with Levi can't score for ***** Quote
erickompositör72 Posted April 5, 2023 Report Posted April 5, 2023 Ok. Fine. This is the last year of the drought. 2 1 Quote

They were gripping their sticks way too tight. Couldn’t even make mundane passes cuz they were crapping themselves. Edited April 5, 2023 by SwampD 2 Quote
Jävə Keith Posted April 5, 2023 Report Posted April 5, 2023 Sooooo sad. I thought we were going to win this. Just couldn't do offense tonight (which is our strength - bitter irony) Quote

Gatorman0519 Posted April 5, 2023 Report Posted April 5, 2023 We have lots of young players in the system to add to this roster. We might get even younger next year. If Levi is the real, we should gain 10-15 points next year. Need a vet d man. 2 Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted April 5, 2023 Report Posted April 5, 2023 We didn't look good. Sloppy, getting pushed around. Levi kept this game close and we couldn't beat a 3rd string goalie. That first goal for them however, was on an absolute crap call 1 1 Quote
Buffalonill Posted April 5, 2023 Report Posted April 5, 2023 Levi you're the one . Cya next year as the starter 2 1 Quote
7+6=13 Posted April 5, 2023 Report Posted April 5, 2023 We panicked but this was good experience for a young team that needs to learn what it takes to win a game like this. You only learn by playing in them so I'm happy we had this game. 2 1 Quote
HumanSlinky39 Posted April 5, 2023 Report Posted April 5, 2023 That's effectively a dagger on the postseason hopes. Grand scheme of things, my hope this year was for meaningful games in March. I got some in April. The boys got a taste of a playoff race and it will serve them next spring. We found our goalie. Some young guys took big leaps this year. Next year is when the patience pays off. Enjoy the last few games with this gang and eye some roster upgrades this summer, hopefully. On to the next one... 3 Quote
Taro T Posted April 5, 2023 Report Posted April 5, 2023 They have to keep Levi between the pipes until they're eliminated. He gives them the best chance to win every game. This could've been so different if Tuch's skate was 1/2" closer to his own end on that entry and if the puck somehow doesn't bounce off Levi's blocker. 4 1 Quote

Not going to lose many games with a .959 save percentage. Edited April 5, 2023 by matter2003 1 2 Quote
Second Line Center Posted April 5, 2023 Report Posted April 5, 2023 2024 Stanley Cup Champs I don’t want to hear jack about you gotta make the playoffs first - the people that will tell you that are the ones that thought this was “too big a moment” for Levi. 2 Quote

GoPuckYourself Posted April 5, 2023 Report Posted April 5, 2023 The good thing is we have appeared to have found our goalie the bad thing is we've lost our scoring touch. 1 Quote

DarthEbriate Posted April 5, 2023 Report Posted April 5, 2023 Well, shoot. One awful shift at the start of the third, and then unable to push for a tying goal. The season isn't over, but the hope for playoff hockey will have to wait. Quote

Easily their best goalie after watching him for 2 games. He makes so many saves just look easy. 1 Quote
