Night Train Posted March 28, 2023 Report Posted March 28, 2023 Well he certainly looked like a future Sabre. I like how he kept moving around the net and had quick reactions to everything. Read he always hustled in Rochester. Sabres can use players of his ilk. 2 Quote
sabrefanday1 Posted March 28, 2023 Report Posted March 28, 2023 He DOES look cool...what a great story iof a guy drafted in the 6th round that actually may make it to the big show... Quote

I was super impressed with his persistence around the net. He took a beating there all night. 3 1 Quote

It seemed like he's kinda crafty and with decent hands, but the thing that stuck out most was how he was always headed to the net. 2 1 Quote
msw2112 Posted March 28, 2023 Report Posted March 28, 2023 Rousek played well last night. I definitely see him as a future bottom 6 winger for the Sabres and a fan favorite. A nice mix of skill and determination. Obviously, given that it was his first NHL opportunity, he played hard, but the book seems to be the he always plays that way. He certainly did not look out of place last night. 1 Quote
Pimlach Posted March 28, 2023 Report Posted March 28, 2023 Good to hear all the positives. I saw the last half of the game and he looked like a hard worker. Quote

I think Peca is having an effect on these prospects, or maybe this is just the personality type Kevyn is trying to promote. Quinn, Peterka, Rousek, they all play a hard-nosed game with a lot of giddy-up. ...not to mention Cozens, the general of the Rough Riders. 1 Quote
