Agreed. But all the armchair scouts here apparently know more than the professional scouts and also apparently there was zero reason Bedard was granted exceptional status as well. How many times has that happened exactly? But yeah nothing to see here.

We've gone over the home thing with young teams before, but I do sometimes question Granato's line matching at home. he seems stuck on the same idea most of the time whether it is working or not. 

As for Bedard, to quote Torts recently "tanking is asinine".

What are you talking about? Bedard is McDavid level good as far as prospects go.

Just going off draft year stats? Bedard. He's got 71g and won't be 18 until mid July. 

Whether he becomes as good as McDavid is another question entirely. 

Bedard has one of the best shots I've ever seen in a prospect.

I agree. I was questioning those that are questioning that assessment in this thread.
