sabremike Posted March 19, 2023 Report Posted March 19, 2023 How is this any different than the team under Kreuger or Housley? They are now getting slaughtered on a nightly basis. 2 1 1 Quote

He had the same issues in the AHL as well. Most of his time in the AHL he was battling injuries and recovering from Hip Issues which could have affected it. I think this is one of the first years since coming up from the OHL that he has been healthy enough to play a full season and he has been thrown to the wolves to sink or swim in the NHL Quote

Some can still fight it and stay positive that everything will be OK, for others, they have been beaten down so much that you get to the 'I'll believe it when i see it" mentality. This is also the first of those 10 years we're a goalie away from the playoffs. Finding a goalie might be easier said than done, especially with Levi being young and not a guarantee, but I'll choose to be optimistic, despite being down about today. Same. The fact that the lowest cap spending team in the league was in the wildcard mix this late in the season is reason to be optimistic. It's what they do with that cap apace moving forward that matters. Second Line Center Posted March 19, 2023 Report Posted March 19, 2023 So it Savoie, Levi, and Kulich are on this team next year - and Anderson, Olofsson, Zemgus, and Okposo are gone - would we be a younger team in 2023 then 2022? Quote
