You're on a PP with a garbage call... You cannot punch someone in the head. The refs are looking for any opportunity to negate the powerplay. Tuch gave them an easy out. And he didn't need to. Irwin was taking himself out of the play trying to give an extra shove... Irwin was making the critical error and allowing a 4-on-3. Tuch was on the dark side of The Concept Of there.

It should never have got to a shoot out to begin with.  Tuch and that asshat on Washington should have both went off. 
 

Even then. We blew chances to clear the puck on the PK and lost the puck.

To be honest I didn’t see much of any there with Tuch. He brushed him.

Refs jobbed us; UPL is bloody inconsistent and stresses me out in net.

What puzzles me is that the officials let almost everything go all game and then suddenly call 3 lesser penalties towards the end of the game.

Irwin should have got a roughing too.  Tuch didn’t have the puck and Irwin was way out of position so he pushed him off the point.

That was a terrible call to put Washington in a huge advantage.

The article in the athletic about how they didn't want to hear it from fans, so they tighten it up call wise late in games.
