Everyone has their breaking point. Perpetual rebuilding has to be demoralizing. Wanting to build from within sounds great, until it takes forever and the players get sick of it and start wondering whether they're wasting their prime years.

Especially when they have to watch teams like NJ and Ottawa rebuild in just a few years. Or expansion teams. LV and Seattle have been better than you from their inception. But in Buffalo, nothing ever changes.

Don't kill it for me man, it's all I'm clinging to. LOL

Well, I have no doubt it will get better, I'm just looking at it from a players perspective. To me, Levi has 0 reason to join the team now, he had to be watching what's going on to some extent I'd imagine. He may deem the peppering and lack of support he'd receive in net as a negative, especially in his first NHL games. I know I would anyways

Throwing him into this dumpster fire too soon could easily ruin his confidence.

Well, we may have used an evaluation year to determine that our needs are...well, exactly what we thought they were at the start of the year. Tried the money ball G add.

no harm no foul - provided KA takes what was gleaned from this entire year we’ve given to dev year, and applies what we’ve learned from that evaluation, for next season

cause if not, what they heck were we evaluating? But, I think KA does

Levi isn't built that way. He is a guy who thrives on the difficult, he likes the challenge.

He'd probably be an instant starter.

Brutal.  This team never ceases to embarrass. Is there really an end in sight?

Save the pitchforks for next season would be my advice

but I dunno what your theories are on talking advice from stupid people

Hoping that is the case.  IMHO - we need a complete overhaul of the goalie position....out with the 3 we have and bring in two new faces, DL maybe being one of them.

There is no doubt in my mind UPL and Comrie are our goalies next year

So you’re saying you believe they’ll provide Vezina quality play, to a certainty? I’ll hold you to it
