Bjork was being outplayed by at least a half dozen Amerks forwards.  Hinestroza looked like Pavel Bure compared to Andres.  Dude brought nothing.  Zero.  Zip.  To the AHL.

Which is the same thing he brought to Buffalo.

This is Bjork's big chance, really. There is going to be two open spots on Bedard's line next year...

Chance to become the next Tank Commander.

Ha!

The Icehogs website has it as "Gicewicz Traded To Rochester For Future Considerations"

Right, because Chicago can't actually trade someone who doesn't have a contract with them.  They could turn around and sign him right now if they really wanted to.

Chicago: Ha, the joke's on you, we got Bjork for free.
Buffalo: Ha, the joke's on you, we didn't have to give you anything to take Bjork.

Glad to see Adams is allocating his time to things like this

Are you suggesting that Adams work linearly or that somehow the pursuit of what people think he should be doing takes up all of his time?

Who needs a cup when Adams can go for a 'Bing' (does it officially say that only players can be given that award?

And you know what they always say 'Nice Guys finish First!"

So are we just gonna gather up pics and not improve the team

Why improve the team now when you can improve the team 5 years from now

Everyone knows that its a waste to make the playoffs unless your the cup favorite

Adams worst trade by far, it was clear from the start Bjork wasn't going to add any value.  Even his Rochester stats were really lame.  Kisakov is another small, skinny winger, so not expecting much from him either.  Let's hope Adams drafts nothing but big wingers and big Dmen this year, but I doubt it.

(Adams gave Taylor Hall way too much leverage on thst contract.  Hope Hall misses the entire playoffs.)

Pretty sure it was more about unloading Hall than acquiring Bjork.

What's he going to do now that he can't drive 30 minutes north from Rockford over the Wisconsin border to get his cheese curd fix??

Ooo you're that guy.

I mean there is a compelling argument that Quinn, Peterka and Krebs gained valuable experience in last year post season.

What's that have to do with trading Bjork?

Didn't understand the idea behind making Rochester weaker...Kulich and Rosen need playoff experience.

Wasn’t Bjork even sitting some games with the Amerks?

Are we sure this made Rochester weaker?

He wasn’t good here.  Had a few points but I’d expect a NHL vet to be more than a .6 pts per game player.

Is this that blockbuster move that was being talked about in the other thread?

Do the Amerks have to sit a vet or two to stay within the player development rules?
