The Sabres forwards really need to start covering in the d-zone first. I know they want everything to become a rush, but there's so many unmarked Blue Jackets just hanging around the slot and it's not on the defensemen each time.

Good puck possession for the most part but a bad period. They need to outwork them. Once again, the Sabres aren't good enough to not outwork the opposition. They occasionally forget that.

That’s just about every game if they keep the play in the offensive zone. There is a reason why they’re just about dead last in the PK

Sabres have to start hitting. The European game doesn't work in the playoffs. Last few games showed improvement.

This was a bad period.  We struggled in our defensive zone. Another poor PK effort.  Lazy breakouts, not enough effort.  
 

On the offensive side we keep over passing on a $hit goalie.  Fire away on this bum.  His stats are worse than Dell.

Obviously they’re not being pushed to be physical. Some in that has the be that they’re not fully developed adults. Hopefully in a couple years they will be bigger, strong, and willing to hit

Rough defense in the 1st, Power ebbs and flows defensively. Muel is usually steadfast. The rest are anything from good to terrible.
