bg17 Posted February 25, 2023 Report Posted February 25, 2023 I think he blocked a shot late that ricocheted back down the ice Rousek, Vinnie, or Kulich? Place your bets. Quote

I suspect Asplund gets inserted and somebody else gets a bump up the lineup. Vinnie gets called up. But there ain’t no replacing Tuch, that’s for damn sure. 1 5 Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted February 25, 2023 Report Posted February 25, 2023 Oh! What does a stroke feel like? I think I might be having one What is the timeline for IR? Is there a minimum time he will have to be out? Quote
FrenchConnection44 Posted February 25, 2023 Report Posted February 25, 2023 Bummer. Total bummer. But the more significant issue is, for how long? A 7 day IR or 30 day IR? 2 Quote
LGR4GM Posted February 25, 2023 Report Posted February 25, 2023 I'd pull up Rousek. See what you have in him. 3 1 Quote
Taro T Posted February 25, 2023 Report Posted February 25, 2023 Durn it. Get well soon, Alex. The team needs your forecheck. Quote
Taro T Posted February 26, 2023 Report Posted February 26, 2023 Would go off the boad and slide Quinn into his spot the next 2 games. 4 Quote
Norcal Posted February 26, 2023 Author Report Posted February 26, 2023 I just hope it's not long term 12 minutes ago, Taro T said: Would go off the boad and slide Quinn into his spot the next 2 games. He'd do fine Quote
thewookie1 Posted February 26, 2023 Report Posted February 26, 2023 IR is 7 day minimum I believe; likely primarily meant in order to make a callup 2 1 Quote
shrader Posted February 26, 2023 Report Posted February 26, 2023 There’s no reason to put him on IR unless someone is getting called up. 1 Quote

Thorner Posted February 26, 2023 Report Posted February 26, 2023 Son of a b*tch. Should be ok as long as it’s not LT. Too bad KO isn’t skating like last year or I’d throw him on the top line for now Quote
Crusader1969 Posted February 26, 2023 Report Posted February 26, 2023 I wonder why they wouldn’t bring up someone who is waiver exempt ? guess they figure no one is claiming Vinnie Quote

Hinostroza doesn't have to go through waivers again unless he plays in 10 more Sabres games or is on the roster for 30 more days. Waivers aren't a factor in deciding who to bring up with Tuch hurt. 2 1 Quote

Crusader1969 Posted February 26, 2023 Report Posted February 26, 2023 GMKA needs to circle back to Mike Grier and see what it would take to get Meier. The experience of Playing vs Car or Bos in playoffs would be extremely valuable, even if the series only goes 4 or 5 games 2 Quote
aristocrat Posted February 26, 2023 Report Posted February 26, 2023 Gotta hope he can be back for playoffs. Get on the phone and try and replace him. Talbot, schenn, Meier Quote
