sweetlou Posted February 18, 2023 Report Posted February 18, 2023 With less than two months left in the season I figured I'd start a thread that we haven't seen in many years. So far today things looking good. Preds stomp Panthers Bruins crush Isles. Devils up on Pens. Tonight we need: Canes to beat Caps Kraken to eat some Wings. 3 Quote

Doesn't matter if the Sabres don't win tonight. This is a MUST WIN. 1 Quote

SDS Posted February 19, 2023 Report Posted February 19, 2023 So this is all being discussed in Around the NHL. Are you looking to pull the conversation out of there and into here? My educated guess is that it’s now going to occur in two spots. Quote
Sabres73 Posted February 19, 2023 Report Posted February 19, 2023 3-0 Canes now halfway through the second. If we can win tonight it's huge Quote
Sabres73 Posted February 19, 2023 Report Posted February 19, 2023 Make that 4-0 Canes. Caps look done... 2 Quote

Does that work better for you? I like this idea of having a separate spot to look at this info. Thanks much to Lou for starting the topic and I vote him official keeper of the daily scoreboard watching thread. 1 Quote

sweetlou Posted February 19, 2023 Author Report Posted February 19, 2023 Let's see if the Blues can help Sabres with a win over Sens today? Only game that matters today. Quote

Mustache of God Posted February 20, 2023 Report Posted February 20, 2023 Islanders vs Pens tonight, who do we root for? Both have 63 points but Pitt has 55 gp vs 59 for the Isles. Does that mean we root for Pitt as it's easier for us to catch the Isles? Quote
matter2003 Posted February 20, 2023 Report Posted February 20, 2023 Pit...we only need one spot to be open not 2. Isles losing gives us another game in hand. 1 Quote

Taro T Posted February 21, 2023 Report Posted February 21, 2023 And IMHO the best part about the Sabres being relevant in February is this kid is actually watching other teams games for the 1st time in probably 4 years. had no stomach for watching NHL teams play in the regular season. 3 Quote

PromoTheRobot Posted February 21, 2023 Report Posted February 21, 2023 (edited) Isles score twice in the third. Up 3-2 with 9 to go. ENG makes it 4-2 NYI! Edited February 21, 2023 by PromoTheRobot 1 1 Quote
