So Chychrun and Vejmalka to Buffalo for a 1st in 2023, a late 2nd in 2023, Rosen, Comrie, and Bryson?

Doesn't feel like enough as Comrie and Bryson are basically worthless.  Maybe substitute Bryson for another decent propect

Upon further review, the source they're quoting is the biggest joke out there, unfortunately. He's worse than Eklund on hock**Bu*z

In that case, I apologise for the false alarm, everyone.

But credible sources have said the Sabres and Yotes have spoken.  It's very possible that as others have speculated that Adams has an offer on the table for Chychrun but that it hasn't been acceptable to AZ and unless they move to where he's at, there won't be a deal done.

ARI is kind of stuck in a hard place now - they've sat Chychrun out for 18 days and he has a limited NTC hitting 7/1.  Now, they could trade him at the draft but it would look pretty amateurish sitting him out for 3+ weeks and not trading him by the deadline.  Of couse, it is ARI so they probably don't care....

Chychrun would warrant power play time. Power was looking great out there on the PP. Feels like there’d be no room for Oloffson if that was the case.

The Sabres aren't adding a 2nd D-man to the PP unit.

Doesn't mean they won't go after Chychrun, just that they aren't changing their alignment should they get him.

Agreed. They need Physical Defensemen that move forwards out of the goal crease and clear the zone.

Here’s another Twitter account stating that the Sabres are the favorite to land Chychrun.

That is the one I saw.  Another poster shot down the account's reliability.

The 800lb Goriilla in the "Chychrun to the Sabres Affair" is currently the mysterious late season, same week as the trade dead line signing of Howser. The plot thickens.........

This has actually been reported by multiple sources. Washington, like St Louis, is stuck deciding whether to tear it down or do a quick rebuild.

I think because of Ovie's pursuit of Gretsky's goal record that it is unlikely that Washington would want to strip the team down to the bones and leave him bereft of supporting players.

Olofsson could very well be traded

Chychrun could play on PP1.  Slotting into the Olfsson / Cozens spot on the right.

There is no way Ovi is allowing a tear down. Apparently the GM has to sit down with Ovi and explain the Orlov deal. Take those assets and flip them as part of a package for Chychrun. I can’t see the Caos tearing it down now.
