UPL had a good game, he only faced 27 shots.  Their goalie is one of the best in the league, but UPL kept us in.  
 

First line was not there again.  The PP was 0-5.  We had 41 shots yet it seems like they don’t shoot enough.  
 

We make a few mistakes and it seems to kill us.  They have to keep working.  They have to end this losing streak.

If you did watch the game you’d know that When the Tage line plays like they did tonight we have no chance

UPL was really good, except unfortunately for his overcommitment on the breakaway, but we need our own Hellebuyk. Switch goalies tonight, Sabres win 6-1

Jost and Ollefson we’re by far are best players - great for them/not good for the rest of the players

you think we’d learn from Winnipeg’s first two goals and actually have someone in front of their goalie once in while. We need more dirty goals

 

 

 

[Dreams Burn Down]

Despite the loss, we played much better tonight than the last two starts. Hellebuyck was the difference.  If we continue to play with this purpose and drive, the wins will come.  In the two prior games, we looked listless and uninterested for good stretches.  That wasn't the case tonight.  Onto Nashville...

Refresh my memory, could we have drafted Beniers instead of Quinn? Didn’t think so, so stupid comparison. If you want to argue taking Beniers over Power, you could do that. You’d be wrong but you could do that

There was a lot of good hockey being played by the Sabres in the 2nd & 3rd periods. It was very entertaining but once again they ran into a hot goalie.

We drafted Power at 1, Seattle draft Beniers at 2.  None of which has anything to do with Quinn.

Well the Sabres plane has hit some turbulence now that teams actually see us as a threat. We won't see many more back ups and will need to grind our way through to the other side which I do have confidence they will.
