Eleven Posted January 9, 2023 Report Posted January 9, 2023 There is not a team in sports that I despise more than the Phlyers. 6 1 1 Quote
Doohicksie Posted January 9, 2023 Report Posted January 9, 2023 6-2 Sabres Quinn, JJ, Clague, Tommer, Skinny and Dahls with the goals. 1 Quote
Two or less Posted January 9, 2023 Report Posted January 9, 2023 Carter Hart played tonight and got lit up by the Leafs 6-2, so Samuel Ersson is expected to play tomorrow. He's actually won his last 3 starts, stopping 80 out of 86 shots in the 3 games. Also, with this being that weird make up game (Tampa moved to Saturday in March and this moved from March to tomorrow) i would imagine tomorrow will be the smallest crowd of the season. 1 Quote
LGR4GM Posted January 9, 2023 Report Posted January 9, 2023 You can't lose to the Flyers when they're on a back to back. Bank points and come out ready. Need Power, Peterka, and Quinn to find the scoresheet. Just win. 3 Quote
onthewarpath Posted January 9, 2023 Report Posted January 9, 2023 I watched two periods of these bums against the leafs last night. They're awful, and they're not getting bailed out by goaltending anymore. TK is the only thing worth seeing on Philly. 8 - 3 Quote
JohnC Posted January 9, 2023 Report Posted January 9, 2023 I don't care how, just win. I would love to see the Cozens line with JJ and Quinn regain some of its old form. The two young wingers have been struggling. It would be exasperating to see the Sabres not capitalize on their games in hand against an inferior opponent. Quote
Mustache of God Posted January 9, 2023 Report Posted January 9, 2023 Games like this worry me. Hope they're not looking too far ahead and DG has them focused and ready to play. 1 Quote

MattPie Posted January 9, 2023 Report Posted January 9, 2023 (edited) The Philly games used to be the *most* important of the season for me when I lived there. Now? Meh. If I had to choose I'd rather see Buffalo beat Toronto or Boston and lose to Philly. But best to beat all three of them in a way that causes their coaches to get fired. French Collection Posted January 9, 2023 Report Posted January 9, 2023 Crush the Orange! Like other posters above, I want the kid line to get back on track. The Flyers lineup is weak enough that DG can play them vs the weakest links and regain their mojo. Dahlin will not be required to play 30 minutes but he will get a couple of PP points. Let’s go Buffalo! Quote
