And actually, reading that... is the first time I've really felt any emotion in this whole thing. I think emotionally I've been "holding my breath" since Monday. matter2003 Posted January 5, 2023 Report Posted January 5, 2023 The Sabres get it too...obviously Kevin Adams growing up here as the GM understands it better than anyone and I am sure that has been shared with the players and they seem to embrace it... 3 5 Quote

JustOneParade Posted January 5, 2023 Report Posted January 5, 2023 Just watched the PC. I'm thrilled with the positive news. And absolutely blown away by the knowledge, skills and ability of these professionals - and all who work in that profession. So, to @Brawndo, @North Buffalo and @Wyldnwoody44 (and anyone else I may have missed) : thank you for what you guys do every day. Go Bills. Go Sabres. And Let's Go Buffalo! 2 7 Quote

By being the first trainer there, he detected the loss of pulse as he was attending Damar and immediately recognized the cardiac event as it related to that loss of pulse. Regardless, it was an incredible display of awareness, training, and skill on the part of Denny Kellington to save that young man’s life. 3 Quote

Stoner Posted January 5, 2023 Report Posted January 5, 2023 Docs explained "neurologically intact" is a gross medical term in this case. He's able to follow commands and move body parts. But a big part of neurological function is the finer stuff... Cognition, language and the like. They can't test for any of that yet. They can't test him for signs of a concussion, for example, they said. They did say that asking about the game was a sign that not only are the lights on, Damar is home. 1 1 Quote
