We look pretty tired still.  Skinner just got our first shot of the period.

No forecheck.

Put TT with Cozens and Quinn. Tuch with Jost and Peterka. Keep the fourth line. Play only those nine forwards.

Ottawa still sending 2 deep on the forecheck, even with a 1 goal lead.   Showing balls.  Intheir defensive zone the are having no trouble with us.  Easy breakouts, we are not putting pressure on the puck.

Someone on the  Sabres has to make a play.

Ottawa is meeting the Sabres at the neutral zone… No transition… Shoot it in and go get it… Forecheck… Work the boards… Feed the slot and Shoot it…

Sabres playing tired lazy hockey, I know you love your first line Granato but sometimes they are just too tired to be playing the most TOI on the team 2 nights in a row... they are all a -1 and the only minus players on the team, play your other players bro...

Need some veteran leadership… Skinner, Tuck, Okposo, Girgensons…

Bench Skinner ???

The decision making is hurting them more than physical tiredness IMO. Probably related though.

Rotate him in. I guess when I pull the thread on my own thought I’m saying remove Mitts and Olof.

I like how Ottawa's going about their business with the lead. The Sabres are going to have to earn the tying goal tonight.

Tired legs + playing tight checking team = not much offense. First line was buzzing a bit last shift, though.

Ottawa is showing me something.    Physical team.  They are hitting everything in sight.   No Alamo

I feel like this a problem, especially on back to back nights... entire first line with over 17 minutes of toi, next highest is cozens at 14... Quinn has 11 minutes of toi as the lowest.

When did we become a 1st line only team exactly?

You have to win games like these I don't care about that streak you have to beat bad teams .

Ugh

Bad teams win every day in the NHL. Even Anaheim has won games.
