#freejame Posted January 1, 2023 Report Posted January 1, 2023 Sabres start 2023 decidedly on the warpath. Six points out; three games in hand; 48 games left to play. Let’s go Buffalo! 5 Quote
SABRES 0311 Posted January 1, 2023 Report Posted January 1, 2023 Happy New Year! Absolutely no reason not to win this one. Mediocre Senators 1 Quote

bob_sauve28 Posted January 1, 2023 Report Posted January 1, 2023 A let down would be understandable, but just can't let it happen. Let's get 'er done boys 1 Quote

Sabres Fan in NS Posted January 1, 2023 Report Posted January 1, 2023 There will be no let down. The Bruin game will fill them with fire. MUST WIN !! GO SABRES !! Anderson will be lights out against the team where he spent all those years. 1 Quote
nfreeman Posted January 1, 2023 Report Posted January 1, 2023 It will pretty hard to avoid a letdown after that incredible comeback win yesterday, and it being the 3rd game in 4 nights — but if they want to make the playoffs, this is the kind of game that they need to show up for and grind out the W. 8 Quote
North Buffalo Posted January 1, 2023 Report Posted January 1, 2023 (edited) Good news Ah waa played last night... need some more Wooo! Edited January 1, 2023 by North Buffalo 1 Quote
DarthEbriate Posted January 1, 2023 Report Posted January 1, 2023 Happy New Year, 'Spacers! It must be noted that the last time these teams met, the Sens won. But it must also be noted that the Muel was not on the ice. Boushh was on one leg. It was also the game in which Comrie got injured courtesy of Dahlin planting Joseph right into his own goalie. Season series tied 1-1. Both teams believe these are the games they should win. 4 2 Quote
Popular Post CallawaySabres Posted January 1, 2023 Popular Post Report Posted January 1, 2023 The last month of hockey has been so enjoyable, and admittedly quite surprising. I have not been that fired up to see a win in quite some time and when the overtime shot went in against Boston, it felt like… Let’s go full tilt and get this team into the playoffs. I think I have found the balance in my posting ability and just need to stay out of the Gameday threads until the game is over. This team is so freaking fun to watch again and emotions are higher than ever for this guy. That’s a good thing. 12 Quote
Pimlach Posted January 1, 2023 Report Posted January 1, 2023 Both teams on B2B. Ottawa blew a 2 goal lead and lost to Detroit. Sabres overcome 3-2 deficit and penalties to win in OT. This is a big game. We will see how much mental stamina they have. Quote
Mustache of God Posted January 1, 2023 Report Posted January 1, 2023 Happy New Year, Saberspacers! It'll be interesting to see which team is better at shaking off the nye hangover. Im skating tonight at 830 so I won't be able to watch, fingers crossed for a win. 2 1 Quote
Popular Post French Collection Posted January 1, 2023 Popular Post Report Posted January 1, 2023 Last minute decision to get tickets and drive 4 hours to Ottawa. Don’t let me down boys. Let’s go Buffalo! 4 15 1 Quote
LTS Posted January 1, 2023 Report Posted January 1, 2023 Ottawa gets in the crease better than most teams in the NHL. The Sabres are not good at clearing the front of the net, in fact I dare say they leave opponents between the D and the tendy as part of their strategy (still boggles my mind). This is why I think they have troubles with Ottawa. Time to step it up. Gotta get these wins if you want a shot at the playoffs. Quote
aristocrat Posted January 1, 2023 Report Posted January 1, 2023 By my calculations we cannot lose again if we want to win the cup 2 Quote

Also: the math checks out. 66-14-2 would qualify for the playoffs and 16-0 in the playoffs wins the Cup. 5 Quote
Zamboni Posted January 1, 2023 Report Posted January 1, 2023 Another win. Let’s the good times roll. Anderson playing against his old team. Sabres … 5 Sens … 3 Skinner, Peterka, or Dahlin with a goal 1 Quote

The kid line was definitely worn down during the 5 wins leading into the holiday+blizzard break. In those 5 wins they combined for 1G,3A. They got rested and looked dangerous again against Boston. JJP-Cozens-Quinn gets at least 1 goal today and probably 4 points between them. 1 Quote
Doohicksie Posted January 1, 2023 Report Posted January 1, 2023 I noticed both this game and the Bahston game were on the road. Isn't it usual that if a team plays on consecutive nights, that one of the two games is on home ice? 4 hours ago, LGR4GM said: Interesting they picked Jost as today's poster boy. Quote
