Everyone likes to crap on Dan as a play by play but I watched the Boston feed and it sounded like 300 one word sentences. McAvoy. Puck. Pass. Tuch. Pass. Steal. Offside. Marchand. Etc. Incredibly slow and lacking description. I think we have it pretty good.

BREAKING NEWS: Bill Belichick was seen at the last several Bruin's practices demonstrating the subtleties of the pick play used as a staple in the Cheatriots* offense. His session yesterday was the last one for the next 10 days. As he explained to the players, at that time it looks as if he will have plenty of free time to get into the nuances that fool the on ice officials. -Just 4 or 5 great games, but UPL can’t be sent down to Rochester at this point.

-refs and jack Edwards can suck me

-character wide and SKILL wise, we win the eichel trade especially with #19 suddenly relevant

- would have loved to hear Jeannerette announce the game today

Yes - but it has been his play all year that did it.   It probably won't happen because there are players on other teams to recognize.

Yes, they did win the trade. TT is more of an asset to the Sabres right now than ROR is to STL. Regardless of a Stanley Cup MVP almost four years ago.

Owen Power had 28:44.  WOW.   The rookie is 20.   He finished +2.  The coach is really showing trust.

The Sabres did not win the trade.

Thompson was nothing for the 1st 3 years post-trade and he was the only useful piece returned for a Selke winning Conn Smythe winner.

Thompson was their 3rd rated prospect.  He could've been had for a lot less than the Sabres gave up for him.

The Sabres finished dead spanking last 3 years after they traded ROR away.

As great as Thompson will turn out to be the 3 years of trash hockey we were subjected to has to be included in the ledger.
