JoeSchmoe Posted December 21, 2022 Report Posted December 21, 2022 My brother just called and said he was going to surprise me with tickets to the game on Friday. He's about 2.5 hours from Buffalo and not looking to do the drive in what they're currently forecasting. Even I don't want to go (unless the forecast improves) and I'm less than an hour from the arena. Any thoughts? Should he try to offload the seats now at a loss, or sit back and hope they postpone the game? Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted December 21, 2022 Report Posted December 21, 2022 Wait for the rescheduling. I have a hunch they will postpone the game. 1 Quote
LTS Posted December 21, 2022 Report Posted December 21, 2022 I emailed customer service/tickets last night with the question. I'm in Rochester and assuming the weather holds as predicted there's no way I am driving in. I drove in last year to the Sharks game when it had snowed like 9 inches that day. That wasn't that bad.. I am expecting this will be a travel ban. If I hear anything I will post here. 1 Quote
tom webster Posted December 21, 2022 Report Posted December 21, 2022 The Sabres have been good about this in the past. Even if game is played(unlikely) they will most undoubtedly offer exchanges to those who choose not to come in. I would definitely not sell tickets at a loss. 1 Quote
matter2003 Posted December 21, 2022 Report Posted December 21, 2022 There is no way they are playing this game Friday...this storm system is the equivalent of a Land Hurricane with pressures likely to be around that of a Category 3 hurricane. Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted December 21, 2022 Report Posted December 21, 2022 The game has been postponed (looks like) by the NHL. Quote

JoeSchmoe Posted December 22, 2022 Author Report Posted December 22, 2022 Thanks for the updates everyone!!! Quote
Taro T Posted December 22, 2022 Report Posted December 22, 2022 And the Phlyers game originally scheduled for March 4 is now being played on Monday January 9. (So the Seattle game is now the back 1/2 of a btb pair.) Quote
