Why wouldn’t they move the start of the Sabres game up a couple of hours?

Sabres at 5. Over at 7:30.  Home in time for the Bills

I’ll watch the Sabres till Kickoff- stay off my phone till half time and scroll through the remainder of the hockey in that 15 time slot

Often these are Dahlin games    He’s been great in most every game but when playing against guys like Makar, Quinn, Hedman, we sometimes see something special from him

Umm, you do realize today is a workday, right?

Sure, move the game to 5PM and cut the # of fans attending from 8,000 to 3,000.  😒

I suspect he's simply too old for a back to back. It was probably smart to play him in the more winnable game.

We will have to score a LOT to win this one. I doubt we do.

You guys are big downers today

I was looking at Avalanche stats today Nischchukin is injured no Landeskog Mackinnon 6 goals

We might be catching them at the right time

Sabres 12-5 like I said

The Buffalo Sabres return home tonight to take on the Colorado Avalanche at KeyBank Center.

Faceoff is set for 7 p.m. on MSG and 1520 AM with pregame coverage on MSG starting at 6:30. Tickets are on sale now.

The Sabres are 3-1-1 over their last five games and are coming off a 5-4 shootout win in Detroit last night. Colorado lost 5-0 in Winnipeg to wrap up November, a month in which they went 8-3-0.

The Sabres have four players with at least 20 points this season - Tage Thompson (29), Rasmus Dahlin (21), Jeff Skinner (23) and Alex Tuch (22).

Dylan Cozens has tallied 10 points (4+6) in his last 10 games and is on the cusp of joining that group with eight goals and 18 points. He scored twice against Detroit.

Buffalo's 3.70 goals scored per game is highest by a Sabres team since the 1992-93 Sabres recorded 3.99 goals per game.

The 2006-07 Sabres were the last team in franchise history to have three or more skaters with at least one point per game played - Maxim Afinogenov, 1.09; Daniel Briere, 1.17; Thomas Vanek, 1.02).

Colorado has three players over the 20-point threshold - Mikko Rantanen (29), Nathan MacKinnon (28), and Cale Makar (21) - and just one player - Rantanen (13) - with more than 10 goals.

Only Vancouver and Buffalo have four players with at least 10 goals.

This is the first of two meetings between the Sabres and the Avalanche this season. The last time these clubs met, Colorado defeated Buffalo 5-3 at KeyBank Center on February 19.

The Sabres are 2-8-0 in their last 10 games against the Avalanche and 2-6-2 at home.

This is the 150th game all-time between Buffalo and Colorado. Buffalo has a 62-63-24 series record and is 38-25-11 at home against the Avalanche all-time.

These two teams will face off again on Thursday, December 15 in Colorado

This still isn’t it Donny

I’m afraid there’s no “it” unless Donny disrupts the chemistry of another line that’s clicking.

The Office Jim GIF

Yeah it’s pretty frustrating when the entire world is aware of the two forwards on this team that are absolute dog ***** but Granato keeps rolling them out there to get caved might in and night out.  It’s almost an automatic goal when that line is on the ice. Everyone is begging them not to keep doing it, yet here we are.

I like this line better. Although I would try Mitts on the wing instead of Hinostroza for the short term. If Mitts still struggles then I would be receptive to the line you present.

You may be lucky to get 5000 with the Bills playing tonight
