The Devils are flooding the side of the ice with the puck making it extremely difficult to move the puck up that side of the ice. Not sure if Buffalo has made any adjustments.

How come the Sabres don't teach the shot pass of the pads?  Girgs should have put that low, five hole, on net and look for rebound.

First half was rough, second half wasn’t to awful

Even after 1.  We got better as the period went on but I can see why NJ has such a good record.  Lots of speed and very sound.  
 

We passed up on a few chances.  I think we have to throw more pucks at this guy.

I don't know if the Sabres have played against a team this quick yet this year. It took them at least half the period to adjust to another team with their speed. Goaltending saved their collective *****. 

Lindy looks to have aged quite a bit since last year.

#46 in quick glimpses looks like Jochen Hecht. Side by side they wouldn't look like each other at all.
