Jim Bob Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 http://insidethecode.blogspot.com/ Friday, October 07, 2005Mika Noronen traded. Mika Noronen has been traded. More details to follow.
Jim Bob Posted October 7, 2005 Author Report Posted October 7, 2005 I can't see the Sabres helping the Leafs out. With Lehtonen going on IR today, I'm going to guess that Atlanta is where he's headed. Other places where he might land would be LA, Phoenix, and Carolina.
Guest willis mcthrillis Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 going to toronto perhaps?? SPECTOR'S MAILBAG. My thanks to "Speedy A" for the following: "A local radio station in Guelph ( Sorry can't remember the exact Radio Station it was AM) has stated a trade between Buffalo and Toronto could be very soon to happening. The trade would involve: Toronto Recieving: Goaltender Mika Noronen Buffalo Recieving: Defenseman Ken Klee Take it for what it's worth. The guy talking seemed so sure that the trade was going to happen. He said he got it from an NHL Source but I don't know. I don't see it happening though because Toronto would be a mess on Goaltending. Tellqvist,Rask,Aubin. Even though Noronen(26 yrs) would be great as a replacement for Belfour it would waste this years DP Tuurka Rask(18), and it will give Aubin(28) and Tellqvist(27) that there going no where in the organization. For Buffalo it makes sense with the recent aquiring of that Goalie. And there need to move a goalie. ..and the link http://spectorshockey.tripod.com/spectors_trade_rumours.html
PTS Posted October 7, 2005 Report Posted October 7, 2005 Ken Klee would be nice. Our defense isn't the greatest.

Atlanta makes plenty of sense especially since their loaded with D prospects and love to see us land someone like Mark Popovic.
