Not sure it's accurate but the first comment on the article states "She leaked sensitive player injury info to the press and got fired for it."

For me, this game marks the Rubicon; the mythical point of no return that Julius Caesar crossed in 49 B.C. Either they find a way to stop losing and right this ship or once again this team sinks in flames and despair. Which will this team decide? It is up to them. They have the talent, now let's find out if they have the will. Go Sabres.

I didn't know Caesar played hockey.

I’m on the west coast this week.  May actually get a chance to watch if work doesn’t interfere too badly.

Dumb ass.  Its a home game.

You better watch it.  I've heard @Weave will report people for abusive behavior.

Keys to victory:

1.  No dumb penalties.  The Nucks suck, but their PP doesn't.

2.  No rebounds bouncing off power.

3.  Cozens stop deflecting opponent shots.  Block 'em or get out of the way.

Sabres should win big.  But there's a reason they play 'em.

Good guys 5-2 w/ 1 EN.

The Sabres are at the crossroads and have but to stray a little for all to fall to ruin. We once again find ourselves in November with the season about to slip away and become yet another prolonged development camp for a franchise that has spent more time in the cellar than a fine wine. There is no help coming from outside, no hero from somewhere else to ride in on a white horse and save this team. No, this team must either save itself or die in the pursuit. This game has to be the turning point, it has to end this losing streak, it has to show that this year is different on some level.

Another November of losing will doom this season to the annals of Sabres history as just another in the long dark winter of no playoffs and no hope. But at the moment a glimmer of hope remains. The faintest hint of something good drifts down from the rafters of a building that has hosted cup finals' games and shocking comebacks, that has seen the likes of Hasek, Dury, Briere, and Miller, that has not known winning in 12 long years. That hope is carried not by a savior but by a group, a collective of individuals who will either be strengthened by adversity or broken by it.

Sometimes faith deserves to be rewarded, and there is no more faithful fans than those that have continued to watch the collapses and infighting these last 12 years. Promises broken, great starts squandered, new hopes dashed to pieces, good players shipped off and replaced, and yet the fans remain. This is the game. The line must be drawn here, the season must be decided now. Not next game, not with a moral victory, not with an excuse, but with a win here and now. Either this year is different, either this team has the mental fortitude to dig deeper than they have before and find a way, or we once again turn our talk to next year because November broke us.

For me, this game marks the Rubicon; the mythical point of no return that Julius Caesar crossed in 49 B.C. No one from outside riding in?  What, are Jokiharju and Sheahan chopped liver?  Don't answer that, it was rhetorical.  (But getting the Joker back should be a boost.)

If you can lose lose 5 in a row, you can win 5 in a row.

LETS GO

And if you lose five in a row, there are no shoulds.

They ARE from outside.  Which is what you WROTE.  Not the reader's fault when you don't state what you mean.  😜

The Browns get to.  😉

Doubtful...most likely scenario is the game is moved to Detroit like last Snowvember. Makes sense since the Bills are there on a short week for Thanksgiving and could just stay there after this weeks game.

They're gonna hafta do something - and soon.

52.5" is a jaw dropping number.

The downside with LES is that there's much uncertainty involved. And the call on moving the game to Detroit would need to be made much sooner than the the LES clarity will arrive. They gotta move it, though. This event is being talked about by the experts in biblical terms.

IMO, it could be more than that...they always tend to estimate low in these events...the initial forecast for Snowvember was 12-18" which then steadily increased as it got closer.

The model captured above is the one that tends to be heaviest/highest. I think 4.5' represents a worst case - but very possible - scenario.

Will be interesting to see for sure.  I'll count anything under 7 feet as a win...do not want to have to dig out from that much again.
