yeh ours is pathetic

lite wet snow followed by rain, then cold again... ski hills will be a sheet of ice... bring your skates, leave skis at home.

I'm estimating we're at a foot of snow now.  When I go outside to clear it I will know more.

No rush.  I'm warm inside, nowhere I need to go.  All kids activities canceled.

Yeah that's just ridiculous. The temp here is going to drop 40 degrees this afternoon and still not be anywhere near that.

I'm just glad the water leaving the well to the house hasn't frozen.

Cabo can't come soon enough.

Total over the weekend here was about 16-18".  But a very dry snow that even the stuff the plows threw into the driveway wasn't an issue.

Ugh, I wish! We got about 7 inches of mashed potatoes. Just heavy wet ***** with a nice frozen crust on top. Skiing was fun anyway for the first 3 hours when my kid and I were the only ones on the mountain, but it got tracked out fast when people realized it was snowing instead of rain on the hill. Oh well...make the most of what you have.

About a foot here, which is actually a lot for northern PA, no matter how much the locals think this is the snow country. A very powdery snow. Nice to shovel. Snowshoeing time.

They don't call it Winterpeg for nothing, eh Ducky.

+++++

We didn;t have much snow, as expcted.

Lot's of rain (some flooding) and wind.

For once we did not lose power, which is a miracle.

NS reporting for duty, but am not sure how active I will be.  Taking a bit of a break since the Sabres are.

-8C or 17F for Saturday.

Portage and Main, 50 below...

I used to live north of Thunder Bay and spent some time working around Hudson Bay. I don't miss those temperatures.
