Wyldnwoody44 Posted October 28, 2022 Report Posted October 28, 2022 KA has those Carolina connections, just like McD, only they seem to be polar opposite when it comes to foraging their old teams 😂😂 Quote
Crusader1969 Posted October 28, 2022 Report Posted October 28, 2022 Canucks will have to make a move when Hughes and Dermott come back from injury.  maybe they are opening the door for a Myers trade as they are close to the cap prior to this trade ? Quote

Huckleberry Posted October 28, 2022 Report Posted October 28, 2022 Glad we did not trade for him, not really better than fitz, was not worth it. Also not the fastest skater. 4 hours ago, GASabresIUFAN said: Lousy return for Carolina and I'm sorry, but a failure on KA's part. Bear sucks , that is why the return is so bad 2 Quote

I wonder why Bear has been traded twice in just a a couple of years though. The Oilers are my second favorite team, I've watched a lot of their games, so I'm familiar with Bear. Truth is, he isn't very good...that's why he's been traded twice. Would he have been an upgrade on Fitz or Pilut? Sure, I suppose marginally, but not enough of an upgrade to make much of a difference, IMO. Edited October 28, 2022 by HumanSlinky39 Quote

Guess it's a shame Botterill isn't still the GM. Canes might've traded in conference for a 3rd rounder. ;)  And he loved trading for over paid 3rd liners, so an overpaid 3rd pairing guy would've been right up that alley. 1 Quote

Yes I agree. I remember when he was a highly anticipated prospect for the Oilers but then getting to watch him play he was not great and why they eventually moved on. Another change of scenery for him. Agreed. Pilut is better comparable than Bryson. I feel like Fitz brings at least brings a physical component. Quote
