LGR4GM Posted October 27, 2022 Report Posted October 27, 2022 (edited) Buffalo returns home after a good road trip with 2 key injuries on defense to play a suddenly surging Montreal team that everyone thought would be trying to race Arizona to the Bedard. Good news is Montreal has lost 2 straight after their fast start but Buffalo can't pull a walk through and expect to win. Slafkovsky is the big 1st overall pick for Montreal who I think is injured but might be back? Buffalo will need to find their legs after a sloppy and uninspired showing in Seattle. Good guys 4-2 Rasmus Dahlin with a multi point night. Edited October 27, 2022 by LGR4GM Quote
steveoath Posted October 27, 2022 Report Posted October 27, 2022 Boo Habs, Yay Sabres. Hopefully we get a positive response to the krakhead loss. Dahlin with a couple of helpers, tage hopefully with a goal or two. Want to see peterka scoring too. Quote
CallawaySabres Posted October 27, 2022 Report Posted October 27, 2022 Let’s hope they got the dreaded letdown game that usually happens 1st game back out of the way in Seattle Quote
Indabuff Posted October 27, 2022 Report Posted October 27, 2022 Hope the young guns make waves tonight. Let's go!!! Quote
Eleven Posted October 27, 2022 Report Posted October 27, 2022 They're going to be tired. Montreal has been home recently, and has traveled only within the time zone this season. I don't see this one going well. 1 Quote
WhenWillItEnd66 Posted October 27, 2022 Report Posted October 27, 2022 Just happy to have an early game!!! No west coast trip let down boys!!!! 2 Quote
That Aud Smell Posted October 27, 2022 Report Posted October 27, 2022 Let's go, Buffalo! A clunker on the 4th game of a west coast trip isn't much cause for concern. But failing to bounce back from that clunker could be. Also: We are only a few games of status quo away from the power play being a 4-alarm fire. I want this team to challenge for a playoff spot. There's no effing way they'll sniff the playoffs with a power play like the one they have. 1 Quote
matter2003 Posted October 27, 2022 Report Posted October 27, 2022 OK boys, pick it up tonight after last game. Everyone has those types of games, it's all about how you respond the next game. Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted October 27, 2022 Report Posted October 27, 2022 (edited) MUST WIN!! GO SABRES!! The game is on SN 360+ for those of you who need to know. Yous knows whos yous ares. Edited October 27, 2022 by Sabres Fan in NS 1 1 Quote
nfreeman Posted October 27, 2022 Report Posted October 27, 2022 The apprehension about the good start just being another mirage is palpable. They need to come out fast and determined like they did vs Calgary and Vancouver. They also need more out of Power, Fitzie and Pilut than perhaps it's fair to expect. And they need Skinner to start lighting the lamp, which is entirely fair to expect. And they need good goaltending. Go Sabres. 1 1 Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted October 27, 2022 Report Posted October 27, 2022 Kind of upset Adams did not address the defensive depth better. Borgen, Pysyk or anther free agent would be nice to have around now. 2 Quote

Doohicksie Posted October 27, 2022 Report Posted October 27, 2022 Still need to move Olie to PP1 1 Quote
Mustache of God Posted October 27, 2022 Report Posted October 27, 2022 Why is VO not on PP1? The dude is a specialist! USE THAT TO YOUR ADVANTAGE! This is almost as maddening as burying Skinner on the 4th line. 1 Quote
French Collection Posted October 27, 2022 Report Posted October 27, 2022 Bounce back hard boys! Let’s go Buffalo. Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted October 27, 2022 Report Posted October 27, 2022 There is no reason to panic after the Seattle stinker. The Sabres have played 6 games and played well in 5 of them. Quote

Maybe that doesn't matter against Montreal, but I'm in fear the season could go right down the tubes now. Quote
K-9 Posted October 27, 2022 Report Posted October 27, 2022 Always been leery of that first game back at home after an extended road trip. Can anyone tell me why that is? 1 Quote
