We went 3 wins 1 loss on this road trip, I call that success.

I am concerned about the play tonight, let's hope it's not repeated often.

Sure.  T he road trip was a success.  But we have  to hold on until Joker gets back.  Samuelson could be a month or more.

Sone people thought Pilut should have made the top 6.  Not me.  Pilut stinks.  He does not play big enough to play in the NHL.

I want to know what happened on the days off… and how Granato got them prepared to plug back in to play tonight… You’d think the chance to sweep a west coast road trip would’ve been motivation enough to come out fast..,

I think they are just gassed. They look like they have no energy tonight.

I don't see how they could be gassed. They had 2 days off, no b2b on the trip and a very short distance to travel from Van to Sea.

Agreed. You could add Bryson to that take as well. He hustles but he still is too small for my liking, I’m sure we could do better if we were willing to spend a little more.

I think they gassed themselves.... early on the D were leaving big gaps which put the Sabres into chase mode.

Nah, they just didn't have it tonight. It's going to to happen from time to time. Can't skate, can't pass, can't do much of anything out there.

Young team growing pains.

Ugh, why do we have so much trouble against this particular team

Good question.   They caught us tired, depleted, and at the end of a long trip.

Last year I remember we blew a lead.

Maybe instead of practicing yesterday they needed some rest?

The youngest team in the league is gassed after having two days off? That’s encouraging.

He joined the rest of the team who also took the night off

They weren't off two days, they practiced yesterday. Looks like he should have given them some time off with the length of the road trip.

The fact they look like they are skating in quicksand and can't even make simple passes cleanly is a pretty good indicator. That's what teams that are tired do

Possibly. But this is the youngest team in the NHL. If they are getting gassed something ain't right.

It's early in the year and a long road trip. I wouldn't read too much into it.

Probably a little cocky like young guys can get after three road wins… Complacent, maybe… No hunger for the game tonight… Got schooled by a hungry team…

Our power play is ***** terrible.

Coaching staff really needs to get to work on this. Unacceptable at this point tbh

Comrie hasn’t had a good gane, couple beauty saves notwithstanding

Oh well. 4-2 is good.
