No just a day or two or three max depending on swelling...  occult, green stick... a ct can be done right away which if 64 slice or above will show any fractures and most tears.

You 2 are having separate discussions.  @Eleven was referring to somebody's apparently incorrect post stating that private/for pay MRIs aren't available in Canada.  You were referring to the mechanics of running an MRI while injured tissue is still swollen.
