The difference in play between pre-season and regular season for Comrie is remarkable. In the pre-season he was on his knees almost all the time, now he only goes down when he needs to.

 

Good goalie coaching or he had mad jitters / lack of trust in his D in the pre-season making him antsy or something.

 

Glad he is playing this well now though.

It's a road game.  They had to weather the 1st period onslaught which they knew was coming.... and they did.  Now they need to push back in the 2nd.

Felt like nearly the entire period. If it wasn’t for the PP I can’t recall us having any sort of meaningful possession in their end

Sabres are lucky they aren't down by 4. They looked overwhelmed for most of the period. Like a junior team playing men.

Them and the Girgensons / Okpso line are the only ones doing anything. Our supposed top 2 lines have been garbage.

I like the tenacity of the Cozens line. VO almost had one but right before that the line was trying to be creative.
