Mustache of God Posted October 19, 2022 Report Posted October 19, 2022 That's what it looks like when goaltending wins you a game. 4 1 Quote
Doohicksie Posted October 19, 2022 Report Posted October 19, 2022 Not often you can play one period and get two points. Quote
Pimlach Posted October 19, 2022 Report Posted October 19, 2022 Always great to start a west coast trip with a W. Rough 3rd. Comrie was outstanding. Tage got off the schnied 4 Quote
KC Scouts Posted October 19, 2022 Report Posted October 19, 2022 I'll add that if we want to be in the hunt for a playoff spot there are going to have be nights like this where a goalie steals the game for us 1 3 1 Quote

Two dubs on the back of two good (one great, actually) netminding performances Doubt we can count on that forevermore but some other stuff may sort out in the meantime with any luck good win good night. This ain't figure skating. Quote
Huckleberry Posted October 19, 2022 Report Posted October 19, 2022 Dahlin on pace for a 82 goal season 😛 1 Quote

HumanSlinky39 Posted October 19, 2022 Report Posted October 19, 2022 Lotta smart people said the Comrie signing was a sneakily good move... 2 Quote
K-9 Posted October 19, 2022 Report Posted October 19, 2022 Man, we really missed Cody Eakin on those D zone face offs in crunch time. 😁 1 Quote
North Buffalo Posted October 19, 2022 Report Posted October 19, 2022 Faceoffs and still passing are off but hustle and great D and goaltending... Hope Bousch is ok gonna need him against Calgary. Motrin and ice lots of it. 2 1 Quote
Andrew Amerk Posted October 19, 2022 Report Posted October 19, 2022 The Bills beating KC, and the Sabres beating McJesus to start a west coast trip - that’s a nice couple days for a Buffalo sports fan. 5 1 Quote
Crusader1969 Posted October 19, 2022 Report Posted October 19, 2022 Not exactly the shut down that the Sabres saw vs the Panthers but still able to survive. is goaltending now a strength of the organization? Comrie, Anderson an. UPL all looked the part so far 2 Quote

Bangarang Posted October 19, 2022 Report Posted October 19, 2022 Man we certainly don’t like to make things easy on ourselves. 1 Quote
thewookie1 Posted October 19, 2022 Report Posted October 19, 2022 The 3rd got rough; I'd love to know how many shots were recorded in the last 5 min as they hammered the puck at Comrie. Dahlin has decided that he's a Top Defenseman and leaving little to discussion. Tage throws the gorilla off his back JJ Peterka is working his way into a possible Calder candidate. Power looked more akin to his 8 game stint than this years first 2 which is a great sign. Comrie gave us a solid if not great game tonight 1 Quote

LTS Posted October 19, 2022 Report Posted October 19, 2022 The team will continue to have moments like this. They'll have moments where they are the dominant team and they will look like crap. A young team does that. But it's the little things that come at the right times that give you hope for where this team is going. And that those little things are coming from the right players. The Cozens/Peterka pair is paying off. There's no doubt about that. They are playing a bit more of a high risk game and Edmonton is a counter-attack team. They still have to improve D zone coverage, but a win is a win. 1 Quote

I thought they did okay.... for two periods. By the third they were whooped. For the most part though they kept their structure and didn't panic, even under the wilting barrage. Quote
