Tage has been god-awful tonight šŸ¤¬

Every time our first line is on the ice Florida just slaps the puck down the ice to our end over and over until they get off the ice, they can't get anything going.

Part of Quinn's problem is Mittelstadt.Ā  Dude has been invisible.Ā

They played a shift or two with Quinn and JJ centered by Krebs and it actually looked decent.

To be fair, that was mostly JJP's effort possessing the puck, and not so much Quinn or Krebs. Though that could become a dynamite line next season.

I really think our breakdowns defensively are sign of just being so young.

Yeah, it will improve as they gain experience throughout the year.Ā

Ā

Necessary growing pains unfortunately for the youngest team in the NHL

I saw Mittelstadt like put his hands up in frustration and stop skating after losing the puck battle on the boards for the 10th time this game.

Shows me all I need to know about this guy, he will never get it together with that kind of attitude.

Don't worry he will be replaced later this season or next season by someone that is actually good like Rosen or Kulich or maybe even Savoie.

The gap between the Sabres and elite teams is on full display today. Lucky to only be down one. And some of our better players need to decide to wake up and actually play because going thru the motions isnā€™t acceptable.Ā

Or possibly Rousek.

Krebs looked good too when they were out together.Ā  He needs to be a driver, not a passenger.
