DarthEbriate Posted January 1, 2023 Report Posted January 1, 2023 Huh. Bedard has 3 assists in the first 12 minutes vs. Sweden. Seems like he could be a first rounder. Quote

Wyldnwoody44 Posted January 1, 2023 Report Posted January 1, 2023 Is Bedard as good as McDavid? Quote
GASabresIUFAN Posted January 1, 2023 Report Posted January 1, 2023 So who will still be on the board at 32? Quote

Bedrard this year has had an NHLe of 57 points in the WHL, McDavid had an NHLe of 68 points in his draft year. I believe Bedrard is having a better WJCs than McDavid, so a lot remains to be seen. French Collection Posted January 1, 2023 Report Posted January 1, 2023 Bedard is leading the WJ scoring race by 10 points after 4 games. This is his draft year, he turns 18 in July. Some guys he is competing against are turning 20 soon. My comparable for him is he plays like Point but shoots like Matthews. Quote
Flashsabre Posted January 1, 2023 Report Posted January 1, 2023 1 hour ago, Wyldnwoody44 said: Is Bedard as good as McDavid? Their brains are similar. Biggest difference is Bedard can’t skate like McDavid (no one can) and McDavid can’t shoot like Bedard. Stylistically they are different but Bedard has a chance to impact the game in a similar manner. Quote
