Flashsabre Posted May 7, 2023 Report Posted May 7, 2023 I’d be more than happy with Sandin Pellikka. Quote

You can easily pair him with Dahlin or Power. Kid has some Makar like skating traits. I think they could find a place for him. Is it life or death that the Sabres draft him, no, but if he is available and they think he is BPA then I would be happy with the pick. Quote

I don’t really see a need for his skillset but if he is the best player on their board they have to take him. Perhaps his offensive game ends up better than Power’s. Maybe his defensive game becomes good and the kid turns into Ryan Ellis. He could end up a slightly better Joki. Those are all positive outcomes and if he isn’t a fit then he can be moved later for something that is. Quote
dudacek Posted May 8, 2023 Report Posted May 8, 2023 I'm pretty sure the best players available at 13 will be forwards. If that's the case, take one. There will be better prospects than Sandin-Pelikka available 1 Quote
French Collection Posted May 8, 2023 Report Posted May 8, 2023 NHL draft lottery is on tonight at 8:00 PM. Sabres have no chance at Connor Bedard. I view that as a step in the right direction. Quote

I’m not pounding the table for him I just think if they end up taking him I’d be happy with the pick but there are going to be about a half dozen guys at 13 I’d be happy with.
