GoPuckYourself Posted July 11, 2022 Report Posted July 11, 2022 It's a solid depth signing, I don't hate it at all. Doesn't mean he can't be trade bait still either at that price. Quote

kas23 Posted July 11, 2022 Report Posted July 11, 2022 I’m happy for him. Imagine being that young and suddenly getting paid that much money to play a game you love. Congrats to him. 1 Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted July 11, 2022 Report Posted July 11, 2022 I think this is a good deal. I mean, the Sabres need to spend some money this offseason and he is a good kid and decent player. This way he has a chance to develop more and the Sabres can see what he really has to offer. This contract and money will not impact any other plans the Sabres may have for this year or next. Quote

Carmel Corn Posted July 11, 2022 Report Posted July 11, 2022 I am glad he's coming back. I was skeptical at first, but he plays bigger than his size. I also thought he was nimble enough to play the right side when needed. If I had to choose between Bryson or Pilut returning......I pick Bryson. 6 Quote

He is the perfect 3rd pairing/depth Dman. Well, maybe not "perfect" for 3rd pairing/depth but he works hard and was ok. I like him more than Pilut. In my quest to actually get better this season I still want to see Adams acquire a physical and solid vet RHD, then Bryson is in a battle with Fitz for 6/7. Edited July 11, 2022 by Pimlach Quote
woods-racer Posted July 11, 2022 Report Posted July 11, 2022 I think a corner has been turned when the Brysons of the league are no longer viewed as an upgrade to previous players and are looked at as good depth signings. 2 Quote

Crosby's was good too, but I can't remember the actor (was in some stupid teen-ish comedies in the 00s). Quote
