Well, that's fine.  But, stating the obvious, he still needs to fix THIS YEAR's GTing.

If we are so stacked in the pipeline we can look to a goalie at the top of round 2, perhaps we can cash in a few later picks on a tender for now

And, does this mean the talks w/ Johnson's agents are going well, or does this mean w/ Chesley gone they didn't see any D w/ top of the 2nd round grades still remaining?

Hard to tell, he could also be trade bait for an established goalie, I'd have to think Portillo also has to be on the block.

I mean... this is also true. Leinonen is the only goalie that I didn't hate.

It probably means they like this kid a lot more than the internet does.

And that they see a need to keep the goalie pipeline flowing with fresh bodies so there are always options down the road and the current situation is not repeated.
