Looks like a Kreb clone, pass first, small center.  Wouldn't have been my pick as I liked others better, but, I'll trust KA.  Can never have too many centers

March birthday, so in the middle of draft age kids.  0 points in 11 swedish Pro league games.  Not my pick, but I'm not a scout. a reach as he was ranked in the low to mid 20's, but, after Quinn and Peterka picks, the sabres deserve a long leash.  He was the biggest mover in the draft this year, moving from around 60th to 23 overall.

Lots of kids are still growing at 18 though, depends on the individual. I certainly was. So him potentially having some physical growth potential would be promising and possible

U18 usage in the SHL (playing against men) is sometimes real weird.  I wouldn't read into this much.

Prospect pool at forward is a mix of playmakers and finishers. Only the top 3 picks ever really get it all. Will be interesting to see how he plays out. Like that he was a spoiler at worlds.  Looks like he has a bit of growing still to do.

Ostlund probably needs another 2 years of strength and growth before he sees NA ice and probably 3 years until NHL ice is something he's looking at.
