Not calling penalties is also inserting yourself into the game. Theoretically, if we’re just letting them play, someone could just pick up the puck with their hands, skate to the other end of the ice and throw it into the goal. 1 Quote
North Buffalo Posted June 16, 2022 Report Posted June 16, 2022 Wow getting nasty fast... Colorado giving as much as Tampa Quote
Zamboni Posted June 16, 2022 Report Posted June 16, 2022 TB being resilient. See if COL responds. Quote
Believer Posted June 16, 2022 Report Posted June 16, 2022 No quit in the Bolts… Wearing the AVs down… Quote
DarthEbriate Posted June 16, 2022 Report Posted June 16, 2022 Pretty much unforced puck over the glass in the final 2 minutes. What a maroon! But so much fun to watch. Quote

Heck of a game, couldn't ask for much more! Quote
French Collection Posted June 16, 2022 Report Posted June 16, 2022 This has been a good game so far, speed to burn, nice passing, good saves, some nastiness and lots of shot blocking. No panic in Tampa’s game. MacKinnon got a bit of room and finally had some chances, he is so explosive. Quote
North Buffalo Posted June 16, 2022 Report Posted June 16, 2022 Neshuskin was a presence all night set up OT 1 Quote

Your argument is a terrible one. Calling penalties has just as much effect as not calling penalties. Quote

Eleven Posted June 16, 2022 Author Report Posted June 16, 2022 Was a heck of a game. Really bad call on CIrelli though. 1 Quote
PerreaultForever Posted June 16, 2022 Report Posted June 16, 2022 Boy that Makar sure does skate smooth doesn't he? Avs in general are a fast fast team. Without the goaltending edge (which is clearly in Tampa's favour) this would be over quick. As is, might go 7 either way. 1 Quote

matter2003 Posted June 16, 2022 Report Posted June 16, 2022 Tampa Bay seems to like going down in the series, except when they play another Florida team. Quote
French Collection Posted June 16, 2022 Report Posted June 16, 2022 This series has the 80’s Oilers vs Islanders feel to it. I could handle 7 of these games. 1 Quote

Makar lost his edge. Horrible call and directly lead to third goal. Look for Vasy to bounce back and play lights out in game 2. By the time the series gets back to Colorado, Tampa will be up 3 games to 1. Quote
Porous Five Hole Posted June 16, 2022 Report Posted June 16, 2022 I feel like Tampa took the Aves “A game” pretty well. Got knocked down and fought back. It’s all going to come down to Vasy and his ability to be the difference. The elevation aspect will be less impactful on Tampa for game two, and the warm temperatures slowing the ice will help them in this series. They’re the bigger team and they play better team defense. The Aves talent edge is pretty undeniable, especially with how their D skates. I don’t have a feel for who will win the series, but I love this matchup. 1 Quote

I'd have to look at it again but Makar pivots quickly and has a hell of lean... so a stick between the legs may look like he lost an edge Quote
