MLH Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Not sure I follow you. Care to elaborate? The loss in game 3 didn't concern me because bounces tend to even up. Two games in a row of fluke goals has me worried about A) it ever stopping and B) a young team's reaction to adversity.
Taro T Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 The loss in game 3 didn't concern me because bounces tend to even up. Two games in a row of fluke goals has me worried about A) it ever stopping and B) a young team's reaction to adversity. I don't think they gave up any flukes tonight (although they did give up at least one bad one), they just got beat by a team that played better tonight. I have faith in how the team will react to adversity, because they have bounced back from it all season long. And, even though they couldn't catch a break on Wednesday, they came out and jumped on Filly tonight. They just didn't have the killer instinct nor the answer to Forsberg. Being in their own barn on Sunday, I expect them to find both, although I am worried about the fact that the ice WILL be bad that day.
hopeleslyobvious Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 B) a young team's reaction to adversity. They are going to have to face some adversity along the way. There is no way to go deep in the playoffs without it. So we better get used to it.
