Just some stuff that I think they got dead wrong in that article. It looked to me like Campbell put the puck in front of the net, not Forsberg, and also I like how it "seemed" to hit Jay McKee in the skate. Unless the laws of physics don't apply to that puck, it hit McKee in the skates.

 

Also, I mean Forsberg did have a good game, but he didn't exactly look as great as the article makes it seem. It makes it loook like he was skating circles around the Sabres, when he had a fluke goal, a weird goal and an empty net assist.

 

Also, in the game notes about Dumont, I think the Flyers fans did a little more than boo when he was on the ice, and if there was polite applause when he got up, it was drowned out by the booing.

Well, I guess the Filly faithful were fired up by Forsberg's idiot penalty, but not until Savage got real lucky. The place sounded dead on the feed I had of the game. That must have been some of those nasty MSG audio tricks to make it appear that the Phlyer fans are some of the lousiest human beings on the planet.

 

I do apologize for grouping in the handful of non-idiot Phlyer fans with the majority, but I did get ticked off when the Filly fans BOOED Dumont's getting up off the ice and getting helped to the bench. I guess that must also have been an audio trick of MSG as well.

TSN in Canada mentioned after the first period that the place was silent after the buffalo goal, and they did Boo Dumont, it came out loud and clear on the tv feed I was watching.

 

They also mentioned at first they thought Dumont took a dive
