What a nice thing to do. God bless that funny man.

I am surprised that his answer to Colbert's question was "beer" rather than "gasoline."

I wish he hadn't had all that work done to his face. Now he looks like Elon Musk's funny brother.

Only the top-rated late night tv show.

Actually he’s been passed by Fox’s Greg Gutfeld show 2.3 mill viewers to 2.1.  Which is hilarious considering Gutfeld is a cable show.

He’s just a lot liberal shill whose sense of humor doesn’t even attempt to straddle the political divide. At least Letterman tried.

Nice to see the support for the city from Myers

I didn’t know anyone actually watched Colbert.

I'm not sure anyone does.  I found it elsewhere.

The replies here are funking wild.

Massively successful and famous comic who’s from Toronto wears an away Sabres sweater on widely watched, rewatched, and social media distributed talk show (EDIT: *in order to show love for a neighbour city that was the site of a horrendous act of domestic terrorism*.)

’Spacers drag the show, its host, and otherwise miss the point.

I assume he decided to wear a Sabres jersey because they were talking about the 30th anniversary of Wayne's World and he always wore a Chicago Blackhawks jersey in the movie.  Perhaps a shot at the Blackhawks organization while getting fans to remember the movie.

That being said, still nice to see him wear the Sabres jersey.

No, he spoke quite clearly to why he wore it.  He explained it in the clip I posted.

The video in the first post cuts out the moment where he talks about Buffalo.

It's quite clearly (to me anyway) in the context of the Tops shooting.

That's not why he wore the Sabre sweater.  He clearly states it is to show much love to Buffalo.  Obviously in regards to the tragic event.

Yes my mistake.  I had only watched a short clip not the full interview.

I can only imagine anyone who doesn’t instantly make this connection doesn’t live in WNY
