freester Posted May 31, 2022 Report Posted May 31, 2022 Gallant is a great coach. VGK were foolish for firing him. Rangers look very good and Shesterkin is amazing. 1 Quote

pastajoe Posted May 31, 2022 Report Posted May 31, 2022 How can a division winner have such a bad power play? The NHL will be happy to at least have one major tv market in the next round. Quote

PromoTheRobot Posted May 31, 2022 Report Posted May 31, 2022 (edited) Gee, Canes. This Game 7 isn't like '06, is it. What a shame. Congrats, Rangers. Get ready to get run off the ice by Tampa. Edited May 31, 2022 by PromoTheRobot Quote
KC Scouts Posted May 31, 2022 Report Posted May 31, 2022 Geez..........4-1...about time they got a PP goal. Carolinas PP has been awful in the playoffs Ray Ferraro on ESPN after Rangers make it 5-1......"Nevermind!" Quote
Claude Balls Posted May 31, 2022 Report Posted May 31, 2022 5-1. Nice come back Caniacs. Can't wait for the Colorado/Edmonton series. Who gets suspended first, Lucic or Kadri?? Go Colorado. Want to see MacKinnon win before McJesus. 1 Quote
Claude Balls Posted May 31, 2022 Report Posted May 31, 2022 Vasilevsky vs Shesterkin?? Quite a matchup. I gotta go with the more experienced two time defending champ. Tampa in 6. 2 Quote

Not every team is going gift them stupid penalty after stupid penalty and prove incapable of winning on the road while playing their second and third string goaltenders. and Carolina still outplayed them the majority of the series 5v5. Shesterkin is great, though. I would expect Tampa to sweep the Rangers. Edited May 31, 2022 by eanyills Quote
Claude Balls Posted May 31, 2022 Report Posted May 31, 2022 Hey Kevyn, maybe take a gander at Trocheck or DeAngelo. This team could really use a DeAngelo type d-man. He was a machine during this series. Of course it was against his old team, so maybe a little more emotion. Quote

It was a kick and the exact reason the rule exists. His right leg was tangled up with the goalie. The left leg was the only one available to stop with. Quote

I have them in 6, but 5 wouldn't surprise me. And how the hell does NY have home ice? I thought Tampa was right behind Florida in the East. And yes, I'm too lazy to look up the final standings, lol. Doohicksie Posted May 31, 2022 Report Posted May 31, 2022 The Carolina loss almost seems like the Hockey Gods avenging the Sabres loss in 2006. Should have won but for injuries. 2 Quote

PerreaultForever Posted May 31, 2022 Report Posted May 31, 2022 I was just thinking, I don't like any of the teams left. So don't really care who wins. Oh well, wait for next year. Quote

They only won the first round because of the goalie, all the stats said they should never have won, hell not even gone to game 5. Carolina really let me down, hope Tampa destroys them. Quote

Rangers and Im not a fan, but Canes rarely paid the price in front in this game.... needed to take puck to the net directly... were not willing to pay the price enough...
