That list would have more impact if any of those guys played in the last 20 years. Exceptional skill can overcome some if not most physical challenges. Levi may have the skill to do it, but it's not unfair for a scouting group to decide it can't be done considering how unlikely it is to work. Quote

Bringing up two guys who are an inch taller out the 40-ish decent NHL players kinda proves the point. They have the exceptional skill to make up for their arms and legs being an inch or two shorter (or more) than other players at the position. Quote

I had my old 1986 NHL sticker album out a couple weeks ago and went through to look at goalie heights. Luit was 6’4, Barrasso was 6’3 and every other goalie was between 5’7 and 5’11. 1 Quote

PerreaultForever Posted April 26, 2022 Report Posted April 26, 2022 Pang was crazy small. Skinny too. Remember Gary Bromley? I'm thinking he was pretty small but played some big games for a while. Small goalies have a tougher time making it, but if they have the speed and agility they can succeed. I think Levi will be just fine. Quote
