matter2003 Posted April 17, 2022 Report Posted April 17, 2022 (edited) Is this the biggest team in NHL history? I can't recall a team having more than 2 such players let alone 4 EDIT: short answer is no...they aren't even the biggest team this year...Winnipeg has only 2 players under 6'0" on their roster and they are both 5'11", and an astounding 7!! players 6'4" or taller including their starting goalie. When the hell did the NHL become a league of giants?? Edited April 17, 2022 by matter2003 Quote
tom webster Posted April 17, 2022 Report Posted April 17, 2022 2006 Anaheim Ducks without too much thought. I’d bet there are more. Quote
PerreaultForever Posted April 17, 2022 Report Posted April 17, 2022 Taller players do seem to be becoming a thing in the NHL but let's not confuse "big" with "tall". D men with reach is a big plus in today's game and that accounts for some of the tall for sure. We add some more "heavy" to our "tall" and we might really have something. Quote

For 6’4” and over they had close to a half dozen in any given year. Quote
