bunomatic Posted April 13, 2022 Report Posted April 13, 2022 Love that dogged determination from Asplund for that empty netter. Kid is turning into a heck of a hockey player. power fit right in. Makes it look effortless. Can’t wait til he has a few more practices under his belt. 5 Quote

GoPuckYourself Posted April 13, 2022 Report Posted April 13, 2022 Power looked like he belonged, that's great to see and great start for him. Dahlin looked like he was on a mission to show him what a real #1 overall looks like. He and Samuelsson are going to be lethal. Hopefully they can pair Power with a solid veteran (Klingberg please) in FA. Middelstadt was only semi useless, he made some good gritty plays but once again gave up 2 passes that could have cost us. Rasmus Asplunds hard work finally pays off, love to see it. 4 Quote

Broken Ankles Posted April 13, 2022 Report Posted April 13, 2022 Power gets a W in his first game with a solid defensive performance. Matthews does not score. The Leaves drop three in a row to the mighty Sabres all within the Province of Ontario. Pedantic police - scold Robbie Ray for calling Owen “Powers” please. 1 Quote

Pimlach Posted April 13, 2022 Report Posted April 13, 2022 (edited) Power had a nice game. Joker did a good job with him. I especially like the Samuelsson/Dahlin tandem a lot. Dahlin had opportunities to skate and create. Beating Tronto is always fun. Can’t wait to watch them lose in round 1. Edited April 13, 2022 by Pimlach 3 Quote
Zamboni Posted April 13, 2022 Report Posted April 13, 2022 I’m looking forward to the “Is Power dumb” and “Power sucks, trade him now” threads next season or the season after that 😂 Seriously …. The kid played well. Tonight. 1 Quote

Yes… He actually had a verbal fart and called him Austin Powers early in the broadcast… and was embarrassed… 2 Quote

Could have been four if Miller didn’t see fit to give the game away in the final minutes of our first meeting this year. 10 minutes ago, Pimlach said: Power had a nice game. Mule is a MAN out there. His presence just may unleash Dahlin even more. 1 Quote
