Yes there are people who have stated on here they wouldn’t mind if Craig Anderson re-signed.
I wasn’t just talking about the TB game, I was talking approximately the last 5 games but that TB game was brutal to watch. I saw at least 3 Middelstadt turnovers in that game all leading to scoring chances.

imo the only way Anderson should be re-signed is in a #3 capacity for depth where he can take on a sort of coaching mentoring role while providing some veteran injury insurance. Minimum salary and if a waiver happened whatever. Definitely not as a planned #1 or #2.

the Tampa game felt a little different from the previous in that it was like games last year. No fight, all quit, all mistakes, lack of effort, individuals not team, everything wrong. Tank team stuff. Prior to that, they made defensive errors and they lost games but they were close and had a little spunk and team resilience and other positive signs. This was just the return of the losing stank.

What player 22 or younger is on the roster or in the system that can replace Mitts and has more potential?

Ever hear of Jack Quinn and JJ Peterka? And if you say they’re not centers, Krebs can play 3rd line center next season.

Nope never heard of them.

Krebs can play center at the NHL level as good as Mitts? Not to this point but maybe in a few years.

Quinn and JJ aren't replacing Mitts because they aren't centers would serve a different role on the team. Further we aren't sure what either will do yet at the nhl level. Further Mitts was looking better until the last game so this seems like an overreaction.

What makes you think Krebs would be an upgrade at center over Mitts?  They're all on the development conveyor belt and Mittsy is closer to the end than Krebs.

Yeah Middlestadt is such a powerhouse at Center for us. How will we ever replace those 16 points in 32 games.

You think Mitts is a good center? He’s slow and easily gets knocked off the puck. I cringe when he plays in OT.  Krebs is faster and more physical. So yes, Krebs is younger, has more potential, and can replace the minimal contribution Mitts makes.

I don’t think whoever Jason Taylor is, his sister, quite understood what she was quoting.
