Carmel Corn Posted April 7, 2022 Report Posted April 7, 2022 Bad call....looked like a lot of embellishment and clamping of the stick by the Denver player. Quote
ubkev Posted April 7, 2022 Report Posted April 7, 2022 Yo, the Sabres would ***** crush both of these teams. Quote

Plays with a ton of poise. You captured what makes Power such an elite prospect. There's an intelligence and positioning adroitness that can't be taught. As a youngster he plays like he is a veteran. His teammate, Hughes, has much more offensive flash to his game. But as an NHL player Power is going to be a player who anchors the blueline. The Sabres/GM made the right decision to select him. 2 Quote
Carmel Corn Posted April 7, 2022 Report Posted April 7, 2022 Michigan seems out of sync since the PK's. They should just play for the end of regulation and regroup during the intermission and overtime. 1 Quote

Carmel Corn Posted April 8, 2022 Report Posted April 8, 2022 So what does Portillo do now? Devon Levi II or turn pro? Quote
thewookie1 Posted April 8, 2022 Report Posted April 8, 2022 Denver was a hair better but Michigan got jobbed by the refs. 0 PP opportunities... seriously when they gave Denver 3 of them?!? 1 Quote

He's got an AHL salary and a few weeks of NHL salary during a callup next season waiting for him. If he's the first to sign, then he's the first in line to supplant UPL. 1 Quote

A lot of big names but Pearson never instilled a defensive system. In a one and done tournament, defensive teams that can lock it down usually fare better. I mean it went to OT, one bounce either way could end it and 3 Michigan forwards over skate the puck at their own blue line and the game is over seconds later. Quote

Brisson had one chance. They couldn't get any sustained offense going. Denver was hard to play against Quote
