5/16/22

5+16+22= 43

There's 41 days until May 16th

43+41=84

In 1984, we drafted Mikael Andersson, who wore number 14 for the Sabres. The Sabres currently hold the 8th best odds to pick 1st

14+8=22 or 2022, which means we're picking first this year

Think about it man. It's all connected

I wouldn’t mind throwing Shane Wright in our center group. Would really open a lot more options for 1-2 of Krebs/Mitts/Cozens to shift to wing, or be moved for a RD.

Strangely the year we won Dahlin I was watching a random anime. The main female lead was named Zero-Two and her catch phrase was Darling but sounded a bit like Dah-Len so I actually made an offhand prediction that because we were 0-2 in draft lotteries that we were destined to get Dahlin to which we did lol.

Will win the lottery and people will complain that wright is slow   creating sam reinhart 2.0  draft Debate

I'm pretty sure Reinhart was a way better prospect that Wright

Wright is pacing for 20 more points in his draft year than Reinhart did. And that is in the OHL, regarded as slightly tougher than the WHL. And that is also after a year off because of Covid. Wright was given exceptional status, When he was 15, I think he is the more regarded prospect than Reinhart was.

I don’t think that is the general consensus opinion.

No he isn't.

Reinhart: 36g, 105pts, 60 games, 1.75ppg

Wright: 28g, 84pts, 58 games, 1.45ppg

Moe-ray-all's odds of staying in the 1st spot are actually about 25% because if any of the teams from Columbus through Vegas win the lottery, they can't move all the way to 1.

Anyone know how far Vegas can move up?

They can move up to pick #6 in which case the Sabres would get Vegas' 2023 first rounder.
