I’m gonna see if my theory about Granato holds true. He has said that part of the growing process for young players is knowing how to pace yourself, to know when to go bore and not just go all out all the time. Kind of a rope a dope if you will. I’m thinking he’s instructing the boys to pace themselves this period, let FLA expend some energy on the back to back, and then push the pace again in the third. He seems to have done this before.

Florida is the best team in the league. They are simply a machine once they get rolling. The scored like 5 goals on one period in NJ yesterday. The Sabres got to get moving.
