Lots of competition.  In addition to the older guys like Hedman, you have guys under 30 who will be around for a while like Makar, Fox, McAvoy, Ekblad, Quinn Hughes, Power, maybe Nemec...who all have the talent to contend for the Norris.  Not to mention who might be coming into the league in the next couple years.

The next 5-10 years, the 'top' of the Norris candidate list is going to be pretty croweded.
