GASabresIUFAN Posted March 21, 2022 Report Posted March 21, 2022 Dahlin has become the player we hoped when he was drafted. It has really clicked. He was the best player on the ice. Our two most talented players, Mitts and Dahlin, we on full display tonight. Amazing job by DG and the boys coming home with 4 points on this trip especially after Edm blew them out of the building. As much as I don’t like Butcher or Miller, both helped the Sabres keep up with the frantic pace that game was played at. Now who does KA leave out West? 1 Quote
Randall Flagg Posted March 21, 2022 Report Posted March 21, 2022 Happy that @dudacek gets a nice night with his wife, but I hope he has a way to watch this one back, because he appreciates Dahlin like few others do Quote

I keep Hinostroza if I can't get a 3rd or more. I think he's one of Kevyn's trade-then-resign candidates. Quote

You think Mitts is one of the top 2? Really? I'd put Tage there, Skinner, Mitts? I think that's wishful thinking, at least this season. Maybe once he's truly back from injury.... maybe. Quote

I wouldn't say bad; more inconsistent. He'd have good games, bad games, mediocre games; had his confidence beat up a bit in November. What really shows is that he lacks much of the hesitation he had pre-All Star game. He's committing to using the body to make plays, defending as well as attacking and elevating his partners. In a sense, Dahlin right now is playing as a Superstar should; consistently above average and making positive impacts on every game. Even Eichel never strung together this many 60 minute efforts in a 20 game period. (Eichel always had a tendency of having off-games and many games where he seemed to coast 2 periods and turn it on in the 3rd. Not literal coasting mind you, but never giving 100% shift after shift regardless of the circumstances.) Edited March 21, 2022 by thewookie1 1 Quote
